How long will a Patio Campfire operate using a standard 20lb. LP tank?
The range has been 8-11 hours, when set at Full Open valve setting. (Note: This may vary and the tank should be checked for fuel level before operation.)

How much heat will a Patio Campfire Produce?
The Patio Campfire is rated by Underwriters Laboratory for 60,000 BTU using Liquid propane (LP) fuel and 75,000 BTU using natural gas (NG) fuel.

Do I need to cover the Patio Campfire when it's not in use?
The Patio Campfire is constructed of powder coated steel and refractory cement logs and does not require a cover we do offer a vinyl cover as an option.

Can the Patio Campfire be used in a covered deck, porch or patio area?
No, The Patio Campfire is rated as an outdoor appliance and should never be used in any covered room or area.

How far should the LP tank be from the Patio Campfire?
The hose and regulator is approximately 12 foot long. We recommend the tank be kept at least 2 feet from the Campfire.

What tools are required for set-up?
A crescent wrench or pliers and a 3/4" box wrench are the only tools required.

What maintenance is required for the Patio Campfire?
Keep all burner ports clean if any obstructions. Check the hose and ventricle for spider webs if the Patio Campfire has not been used for an extended time. Soot will build up on the logs and can be washed off with a normal garden hose.

How far should I keep the Patio Campfire from combustible walls, fences, or railings?
We recommend 48 inches.

What should be done when finished using the Patio Campfire?
Turn the red handle on the bail valve to the off position, then turn the gas valve on the tank to the off position, or using natural gas, shut off valve.

How do I properly light the Patio Campfire?
Remove vinyl cover if you have one. Find manual gas control valve, place a burning match or lighter wand on top of burner in middle where ports are present, slowly turn gas on until burner ignites. If you fail to ignite and match burns out or flame on wand lighter go out, wait at least 5 minutes to clear out any gas. Follow complete instructions found on page 8 of the operating manual.
